<h1>Stellar FSKU: Future of Digital Finance</h1><h3>Who?</h3><p>The Finance Society of Kenyatta University (FSKU) is a <strong>registered student organization under Kenyatta University's Directorate of Student Affairs</strong>, with a community of 500+ members and an active leadership team comprising the President, Vice President, Organizing Secretary, Project Leads and event teams.</p><p>The initiative will be spearheaded by FSKU and coordinated by its Project Lead and Event Organizer, combining an established university community with experience in finance, technology and Web3 community building.</p><h3>What?</h3><p><strong>Stellar FSKU: Future of Digital Finance</strong> is a Stellar-focused university event planned for <strong>Friday, November 6, 2026, at Kenyatta University, Kenya</strong>.</p><p>The event will introduce finance, business, technology, entrepreneurship and student communities to Stellar and demonstrate how blockchain infrastructure can be applied to real-world financial use cases.</p><h3>Target Audience</h3><p>The primary audience will be <strong>finance, business, economics, technology and entrepreneurship students at Kenyatta University</strong>, particularly students interested in fintech and the future of digital finance who are not yet actively involved in the Stellar or wider blockchain ecosystem.</p><p>We will also welcome <strong>student developers, builders, entrepreneurs and innovators</strong> interested in digital payments, stablecoins, Soroban and blockchain-based financial infrastructure. FSKU's existing 500+ member community provides an initial network for outreach, while the event will be open to the broader university community to help Stellar reach new potential users, builders and community contributors.</p><h3>Why?</h3><p>FSKU is passionate about preparing students for the evolving world of finance. Our members are already engaging with fintech, investments, financial innovation and emerging technologies.</p><p>Stellar provides an opportunity to connect these interests with practical applications including <strong>digital payments, stablecoins, cross-border financial infrastructure and Soroban</strong>. Rather than treating blockchain as an abstract concept, the event will help students understand where Stellar fits into the future of financial technology and how they can participate in its ecosystem.</p><p>We specifically want to reach students who are not already active in blockchain communities and give them an accessible entry point into Stellar.</p><h3>How?</h3><p>The event will combine Stellar ecosystem sessions, practical onboarding, demonstrations of relevant use cases, developer and builder engagement, finance-focused discussions, networking and community interaction.</p><p>The goal is to move participants beyond simply hearing about Stellar. Students should leave with a practical understanding of the ecosystem and clear pathways to continue exploring, building and contributing.</p><h3>Our Track Record</h3><p>FSKU has an established record of organizing educational, professional and community initiatives. The success of the event will ultimately be measured not only by attendance, but by the students who continue learning, building and contributing to the Stellar ecosystem after November 6.</h2>
